Patrick Allary (°1967), partner, advises and represents domestic and international clients in litigations concerning questions of insurance law, transport law, commercial law and civil liability. He is a voluntary scientific collaborator at the Insurance and Transport Law Institute (Ghent University) and lecturer at the university colleges Arteveldehogeschool en Hogeschool Gent, partner institutions of Ghent University Association. He publishes in the field of insurance law and transport law.
Patrick Allary was claims manager at average adjusters and average agents S.A. Atlantis International Services in Antwerp and Brussels (Waterloo) (1994-1997). As from January 1998 he was admitted as a member of the Ghent Bar Association. He was associate with an own practice in maritime and tranport law at Van Steenbrugge, Van Acker & Mussche (1998-2000) and partner at Bernauw & Allary Advocaten (2005-2010). Hij was academic assistant at the faculty of law of the Ghent from June 2000 till May 2006. He obtained a licentiate in law degree (1992) and a certificate in the specialized studies in port and maritime sciences (1993), both at Ghent University.
