Kurt Faes (°1970), partner, specialises primarily in mergers and acquisitions (equity or asset based joint ventures, etc.) and advises both national and international clients in corporate and business law issues. Kurt Faes has published in several areas (with a focus on corporate and business law).

From 1995 until 1997 Kurt Faes was an associate with Huybrechts, Engels, Craen en Vennoten (presently Elegis). From 1998 until 2003, he was an associate with Loeff Claeys Verbeke, which subsequently became Allen & Overy. He obtained his law degree at Antwerp University (1992), and also holds several postgraduate degrees (Münster University, Masters Degree in corporate law, competition and commercial law  (1993); Aix-Marseille III University DESS in maritime and air transport law (1994); Antwerp University, Master in Business Law  (2000)).
